Chirality Nail Polish: MC Chris For the Win Collection!
*Press Sample*
Happy Friday everyone! Today I have a really fun collection to show you- Chirality Nail Polishes upcoming MC Chris For the Win collection! These polishes are being released tomorrow, 7/27, so you don’t have to wait very long to snatch them up!
There are 5 fun glitter packed polishes in this collection, all named after MC Chris songs (who I was unfamiliar with before writing this post)- Distant Lands, Emo Party, Potato Cakes, Fett’s Vette, and Nrrrd Grrrl.
First up is my very favorite of the collection, Distant Lands!
Distant Lands is a really gorgeous, complex glitter polish! The teal green base is packed with fine holographic glitter, tons of sizes and shapes of purple and black glitters, and large dot glitter! I used 2 coats of Distant Land with topcoat for these pictures.
If the amount of circles in my pictures are any indication, it’s pretty obvious I had no trouble getting them out! I did fish a little, but they didn’t give me much trouble.
Next is Emo Party!
Emo Party is a concrete grey base packed full of fine holographic glitter, and tons of sizes of red hexes, both matte and metallic! There’s also large black and red dots. I used 2 coats for my photos with topcoat.
Unlike Distant Lands, these circles gave me a bit more trouble 😉 This tends to be pretty universal for the ultra large glitters, so I expected some effort to get more than an occasional circle. The other glitters came out by the ton though, even the giant red hexes!
Next up, Potato Cakes!
This is a really interesting polish- it’s a burnt orange base filled with gold dots, squares and hexes, along with medium and really really big white hexes. I used 2 coats and topcoat for these pictures.
This color doesn’t get along well with my skin tone, but I still really like it. It reminds me of fall! I think it would be perfect around Halloween- maybe with an accent finger of Chirality’s Just Before Dawn? 🙂
Now we have Fett’s Vette!
Fett’s Vette is a sky blue polish filled with light blue, silver and grey hexes, holograpic micro slices, and giant holographic blue dots. I used 2 coats and topcoat for these photos.
This was a surprise second favorite for me- It complimented my skin really well and just looked gorgeous on, especially out in the sun where all that holographic sparkle could shine!
Last but not least, we have Nrrrd Grrrl!
This polish is a pretty pink-leaning red jelly polish filled with black and white glitters. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for these photos.
I struggled so much to get the white circles out for the photos, but finally gave up. They just really wanted to stay in the bottle! I think this is probably because I was using a mini bottle- larger glitters love to hang out on the sides of mini bottles 😉 But even without them, I love this polish! The jelly base is very squishy looking and compliments the red and white very well.
The consistency and application on all 5 of these polishes was wonderful. The glitter was plentiful, and I only had to fish/place the extra large ones- the rest went on fairly evenly and nicely. I had to do minimal cleanup, which is always a huge plus for me! If you can get just 1 polish from this collection, my personal favorite is Distant Land, but they’re all winners!
These collection will be launching tomorrow, July 27th! You can find more information at Chirality’s Facebook page, and purchase these and other AMAZING polishes (their holos are particularly awesome) at both Chirality’s Big Cartel store and Etsy store.
